Guitar Hero World Tour é um jogo de música desenvolvido para as plataformas PS2, XBOX360, PlayStation 3, Wii e Pc.
O jogo irá permitir aos usuários criar novas músicas, incluindo bateria, vocal, guitarra e baixo, embora o modo estúdio será sem vocais, devido a limitações de armazenamento e de direitos autorais.
O jogo saiu a 27 de Outubro.
Os usuários poderão utilizar um "Create-a-Rocker", baseado no similar "Create-a-Skater" Modo de Tony Hawk's Neversoft série . Os jogadores serão capazes de afectar a sua personagem no vestuário, tatuagens, maquiagem, e idade.
Guitar Hero World Tour irá permitir aos jogadores criarem as suas próprias canções e compartilhá-los com os outros através do Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, e Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Internet capacidades. O Vocal não é suportads por essa modalidade diz respeito devido aos direitos de autor.
